Northland Builders Inc is seeking a reliable person to join their team of skilled electricians, carpenters, plumbers and labourers. This is a full-time position with an excellent opportunity for growth. The HVAC/R Technician - Lead must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. They will follow project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.What Do You Get:

- Install, service and commission commercial refrigeration, air conditioning units and combined heating, ventilation & cooling systems.
- Review blueprints along with building code specifications to determine work details and procedures. Troubleshoot onsite mechanical issues.
- Communicate with supervision team.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and adjust for efficiency in the field. Assist with ordering of materials for jobs.
- Compliance with all required occupational health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other construction professionals.
- Quality Control of work completed on jobsite
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and always maintain safety practices.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Organize tools and materials
- Lead and teach junior members of a team.Qualifications & Experience:
- Provincial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Certificate or Red Seal.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial HVAC work preferred.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
