Are you looking for your next challenge?We are now hiring for a Quality Control Labourer to join our team for the 2025 Construction Season. This position will require travel to various jobsites in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories to ensure the high quality work that our customers are accustomed to.Key Responsibilities
  • Once trained, work independently with minimal supervision
  • Complete materials sampling and testing at a standard that will satisfy contract requirements and will ensure proper quality control
  • Onsite document control
  • Test road construction materials such as asphalt concrete pavement and aggregates
  • Ensure you are in compliance with testing standards
  • Lab set-up and tear down
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Prior experience working within a paving or construction company is an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Out of town travel is required and may consist of remote locations. Accommodations and Live out Allowance are provided in most situations.
  • Weather dependent schedule of Monday to Saturday, up to 12 hours per day and may consist of day and/or night shift. Overtime is paid in accordance with local employment standards.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must comply with the company's drug, alcohol, and fitness testing.
  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
