- A minimum of 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in recruiting talented individuals with a professional services and information technology background
- Certifications in recruiting, staffing or human resources will be an asset
- Existing personal relationships and\or business or professional association memberships in Regina related to the professional services/information technology field that would support recruiting activities
- Formal educational Certificate, Diploma or Degree from an educational facility with a major in human resources, business, or information technology
- Experience participating in the full life cycle of recruitment
- Coordinate various recruiting activities (face-to-face or virtual)
- Create a pool of local talent of various skills such as Project Managers, Developers, Architects, Analysts, Testers and OCM’s
- Provides regular updates to stakeholders on the status of requisitions
- Participate in client update meetings and represents the service to stakeholders as required
- Monitor the current recruitment process while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and online job posting sites
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Very strong organizational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in their work
- Access to a strong Wi-Fi connection to work remotely should the need arise
- Build relationships with consulting community in Canada
- Maintaining close relationships with the business development teams to successfully support the opportunity sales cycle.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in consultant sourcing techniques; applicant tracking systems, social media and the use of passive sourcing techniques
- The ability to review and assess candidates based on identified requirements
- Experience in the development and maintenance of an efficient shortlist of candidates with the use of pre-screening interviews
- The ability to utilize multiple interview techniques & formats such as formal\informal, telephone, MS Teams, group and technical
- Leverage in house subject management experts in multiple competencies to identify and validate high quality candidates
- Ensure that successful candidates are introduced to the sales cycle
- The confidence to recommend and implement improvements to the recruiting processes
- The ability to identify new channels for paradigm recruitment
- Complete industry/market analysis reports
- Assist the Talent Acquisition department with job fairs, career events and attending these events to market our department
- Assist with general administrative tasks
- An IT and Business Consulting practice with over 35 years of experience and presence in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and consultants working remotely across Canada
