- Understand and analyze market dynamics within the lupus healthcare ecosystem to generate deep insights into future trends that impact the brand, market and customers.
- Build strategic and effective plans to exceed sales performance expectations while working within assigned budgets.
- Effectively communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to community physicians and leading clinical practitioners using a multifaceted approach, including face-to-face and virtual/digital channels.
- Create strong relationships with Health Care Provides (HCPs), identifying innovative solutions to support Lupus care.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with KAMs, Medical, head office, and your direct-line manager to jointly create solutions for key customers.
- Develop and coordinate effective learning programs in collaboration with the broader KAM, brand, and medical teams.
- Share best practices and generate learning opportunities across the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Comply with all external regulations, as well as internal policies and training requirements.
- Collect and report adverse events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.
- University degree in Science, Health Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of specialty biologics pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Experience in Rheumatology and Lupus is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success engaging with HCPs, analyzing customer insights, and executing strategies to deliver on sales goals.
- Strong technical and digital capabilities to maximize an omnichannel approach, resulting in impactful, engaging customer interactions (virtual and face-to-face).
- Ability to lead without authority and effectively engage cross-functional teams to achieve key account objectives.
- Proven ability to positively impact and influence others, quickly establish credibility, and build strong partnerships.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to work with agility.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to identify needs of customers and align brand value propositions accordingly.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in diverse, cross-functional environments and enhances team cohesion and agility.
- Valid driver’s license, and ability to travel (including overnight stays up to 20% of the time).
- Fluency in oral and written English.
