  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex schedules across multiple projects and programs using advanced scheduling tools.
  • Lead schedule quality assessments, including critical path analysis, float evaluations, baseline validation, and compliance audits.
  • Integrate schedules across portfolios to create consolidated roadmaps and milestone views.
  • Provide expert guidance on schedule structure, coding, calendars, and PMO standards.
  • Oversee and administer the portfolio of schedules, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with performance indicators.
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in workflows.
  • Champion schedule management best practices and enforce governance frameworks.
  • Lead or support schedule reviews, audits, and readiness assessments for key project gates.
  • Maintain and evolve templates, tools, coding structures, and documentation.
  • Deliver high quality insights for executive presentations and portfolio reviews.
  • Produce forecasting, scenario modelling, and time impact analyses to support decision making.
  • Collaborate with cost, risk, and reporting teams to ensure integrated project control outputs.
  • Act as an advisor to Project Managers, Planners, Directors, and business partners.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior PCOs and schedulers.
  • Support tool administration, troubleshooting, and coordination of system upgrades or enhancements.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in business and computer applications for managing project information, costs, and forecasts.
  • PMP certification or active participation in professional project management organizations is an asset.
  • 6–8 years of experience in project controls, including scheduling, governance, and administrative work with advanced scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with project management principles, including scoping, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Experience in project management support roles within highly regulated or complex industrial environments (e.g., energy, infrastructure, or large scale construction).
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience with computerized systems and databases, including ETL processes and system integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide expert guidance, mentor junior staff, and support organizational standards.
Pay Range
