- Maintain, diagnose, and repair construction and mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for customer operations.
- Work on-site and in the workshop, providing technical support and completing service tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Use computerized and diagnostic testing equipment to identify faults, determine repair requirements, and ensure proper functionality after service.
- Repair and replace defective components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and adjustments to extend equipment life and prevent failures.
- Access repair instructions, parts information, and service procedures through digital platforms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Document all work performed clearly and thoroughly to maintain accurate service records and support operational planning.
- Troubleshoot issues on telehandlers, forklifts, aerial equipment, and underground mining machinery, delivering solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Support safe work practices and uphold equipment standards across all service environments.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with a broad range of equipment, including construction, mining, or industrial machinery.
- Strong technical background with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical and hydraulic issues.
- Experience working with telehandlers, forklifts, and underground mining equipment is an asset.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently or on customer sites.
- Valid driver's licence required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
