We're looking for a skilled Face Loader Operator to join our team at our Grey Bruce location.In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operation - safely and efficiently operating plant loaders and haul trucks to keep material moving and production on track. You'll also perform routine and preventative maintenance, support plant clean-up, and step in wherever needed to keep the site running smoothly.This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage of $30.45 - $31.45 per hour.What You'll Be DoingSafely operate face loaders, plant loaders, and haul trucks in a production environmentLoad and move aggregate materials efficiently to support plant operationsConduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenanceIdentify and report mechanical issues promptlyMaintain clean and organized work areas, including plant and yard clean-upFollow all site safety procedures and company policiesWork closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targetsAssist with additional site duties as requiredHere's What You NeedValid G drivers license in good standingExperience operating heavy equipment in an industrial settingStrong mechanical aptitude - you understand your equipment and take ownership of its careSupervisory experience (an asset) - leadership skills are valued and recognizedWelder/welding experience (an asset)Previous experience in Asphalt, Aggregate, Ready-Mix, or Roadbuilding environments (an asset)Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - heat, cold, dust, and everything in betweenYou become part of a team you can count onA comprehensive total rewards package and benefits to support your wellbeingLeaders who support your growth and successA workplace that provides the best health & safety practices in industryGive back to your community with two paid volunteer days annually and opportunities to become involved in eventsWalker Industries does not rely on artificial intelligence or automated systems at any stage of recruiting or hiring.
