Description :Support Services Analyst - Investment TeamPermanent Full-TimeOpen to any Advice Centre locationCloses September 5thAnnual Salary: $42,260 - $58,107Support Services Analyst - InvestmentWe’re looking for a Support Services Analyst specializing in Investments to join our team! This position is integral to the function of our organization, playing a key role in providing support to staff and members in deposit and service administration, ensuring all activities are in compliance with credit union policies and procedures. You will provide expertise in the implementation and maintenance of programs, products and procedures as they relate to the department for our internal and external members.The key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Provide technical direction and support to advisory staff to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of moderate to complex products and services and assist members if advisory staff cannot answer their questions.
  • Assist Support Specialists in the development and implementation of procedures within established policies to ensure effective operation of the Credit Union.
  • Participate and review compliance ensuring it is adhered to among retail and support staff as it relates to regulatory requirements (FINTRAC, Concentra, CRA).
  • Work as a team to cover additional duties as required.
  • Must have the ability to travel to and cover regionally as required.
  • Innovation’s Travel Practice Guidelines will be followed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of formal education or equivalent; plus 1-3 years of job-related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with Microsoft O365, workflows, and file management
  • Knowledge of registered investments an asset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to members and coworkers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous education and personal development.
  • Detail-oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our company’s assets and reputation.
  • Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
  • Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, PowerBI).
