Le technicien est chargé de superviser la maintenance de tous les équipements électriques, mécaniques et de sécurité incendie/vie au sein du centre de données, garantissant un temps de fonctionnement supérieur à 99,999%.Responsabilités
  • Superviser la maintenance des équipements électriques, mécaniques et de sécurité incendie/vie.
  • Servir de ressource technique pour soutenir nos centres de données.
  • Répondre aux problèmes électriques et mécaniques impactant la disponibilité.
  • Contribuer à l'innovation tout en réduisant les coûts opérationnels.
Compétences Essentielles
  • Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience dans les opérations de centre de données ou environnement équivalent.
  • Compréhension approfondie des systèmes électriques et mécaniques.
  • Capacité à travailler en dehors des heures normales.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite en français et en anglais.
Compétences Supplémentaires & qualifications
  • Éducation postsecondaire en commerce électrique ou mécanique, ou baccalauréat pertinent.
  • Compétences informatiques pour naviguer dans divers outils.
  • Capacité à prioriser les tâches dans un environnement complexe et rapide.
  • Connaissance de base en matériel informatique, Linux et réseautage.

The technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center, ensuring a better than 99.999% uptime.Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
  • Serve as a technical resource to support our data centers.
  • Respond to electrical and mechanical issues affecting availability.
  • Drive innovation while reducing operational costs.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Center Operations or equivalent environment.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work on-call and provide after-hours support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Electrical or Mechanical trade, or a relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient computer skills to navigate various tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Linux, and networking.
Work EnvironmentThe position is based in Montreal, primarily in offices located in Dorval, Ville St-Laurent, or others. Flexibility is required to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
