- Lead all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning for the Saskatchewan region.
- Analyze, coordinate, and report on financial performance, projections, and special initiatives to senior leadership.
- Develop and oversee short- and long-term financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external and internal auditors, ensuring smooth financial audits and reviews.
- Design and implement accounting policies and administrative procedures to enhance financial reporting and compliance.
- Stay current with IFRS, GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing finance teams, setting measurable goals and providing ongoing feedback and development.
- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to align strategies with current best practices.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures through detailed financial analysis and integration strategies.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; a CPA or CFA designation is a strong asset.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in management roles-experience in industrial manufacturing or a global business environment is preferred.
- Expertise in financial systems, analytics, and corporate accounting.
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with an aptitude for problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Experience with acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
