- Foster strong working relationships with the client’s deal team, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Conduct targeted research on relevant industries, markets, and companies to support transaction analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Assess historical financial performance and forecast models to provide insights into business trends and future potential.
- Review and interpret key accounting policies and evaluate the strength of management control environments.
- Execute detailed financial analysis, including sustainability of earnings and cash flows, working capital requirements, asset quality, and performance drivers such as revenue, margins, and expenses.
- Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights, supporting the development of comprehensive due diligence reports for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Lead smaller engagements or contribute meaningfully to larger projects, reporting to a manager, senior manager, or partner.
- Support business development efforts related to the client account, including preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage directly with various stakeholders, including the client, targets, potential buyers, advisors, and financing sources.

- Existing CPA designation required, pursuit of CBV or CFA an asset
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of deal experience in either financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions valuations, restructuring, corporate finance or corporate development capacity or alternatively minimum 3 years of assurance review/audit experience
- Highly motivated, autonomous and able to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Skilled in building a network and effective working relationships
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with VBAs, Marcos, Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI an asset
