Responsibilities for Seasonal Industrial Security GuardControl and manage site access by manning the gate and assisting suppliers and crews with fob entry as they arrive and departVerify identification and authorize entry for all visitors, contractors, and staffConduct regular foot patrols around the main building and warehouse to monitor increased traffic and ensure site securityMaintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and propertyMonitor security systems and surveillance equipment to detect and respond to any suspicious activityRespond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or potential security threatsComplete accurate and detailed Daily Guard Reports using GTrackDocument all incidents and occurrences by completing Incident Reports in GTrack as requiredObserve, report, and escalate any safety hazards, security breaches, or unusual activitiesIdentify and report any security system issues, vulnerabilities, or malfunctionsCollaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when requiredQualifications for Seasonal Industrial Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification is an asset
CSA Steel toe boots required
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
