Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and looking to make an impact at a dynamic freight brokerage? Our company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage paper-based and electronic AP processes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role ensuring prompt, accurate payments and smooth transactional operations.Key Responsibilities:· Process 40–50 AP invoices per day, including printing, voucher preparation, matching invoices with proof of delivery, and confirming freight rates.· Conduct daily vendor communication to resolve discrepancies and verify documentation.· Initiate and monitor electronic payments via EFT and credit card.· Maintain organized invoice and transaction filing systems.· Export AP/AR data from CRM to ERP for seamless reporting and reconciliation.· Support accounts receivable functions, including handling cash applications and assisting with bank reconciliations.· Manage transactions primarily in Canadian dollars (approx. 90% AP payments CAD; remaining USD; no foreign exchange involved).· Deliver accurate, timely results under paper-based accounting processes.Qualifications:· 2+ years of experience in accounts payable roles, ideally within transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage sectors.· Familiarity with paper-based invoice workflow and electronic payment procedures.· Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume environments.· Strong communication and vendor management skills.· Experience using ERP/financial platforms such as AccPac and transportation/dispatch software like TransPlus preferred.· Knowledge of AR and cash application processes is a plus.Why Join Us?· Work with a collaborative, supportive team in a stable and thriving industry.· Hands-on role blending traditional and digital processes.· Competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.Ready to contribute your AP expertise in a company that values accuracy and reliability?
