
Consultant, Claims – Trade Credit Insurance

- Investigate, analyze and establish quantum for the settlement of claims made under trade credit insurance policies.
- Manage all administrative aspects of claim files.
- Document and communicate all claims activity in a timely and effective manner to support the outcome of the claim file.
- Provide regular reporting to management.
- Coordinate the subrogation process in claim files.
- Work in close collaboration with the Underwriting team.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
- Valid Claims Adjuster certification for Commercial Lines Damage Insurance as issued by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (or in the process of obtaining it).
- Solid business background.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior trade credit insurance claims experience, an asset.
- Professionalism.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to process claims files from English-speaking clients on a regular basis.
