As the Inventory Systems & Replenishment Optimization Manager, you will lead the replenishment process strategy and execution; managing related Supply Chain and Merchandise requirements through cross-functional areas across the business; focusing on optimization and efficiency. Led by the Director, Inventory Planning and Replenishment, this opportunity will best suit someone who has strong knowledge of EDI Operations as well as strong leadership skills.Ready to make an impact?   • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory replenishment and achieve KPI’s. Analyze key metrics such as inventory turnover, stock levels, and fill rates, and develop regular KPI reports with actionable insights, presenting any issues and proposing solutions.
  • Develop and lead training to ensure consistent processes and practices are applied across the team. Lead, motivate and retain a high-performing technical team who deliver results.
  • Identify and address risks related to inventory supply interruptions or excess stock. Communicate proactively with stakeholders to address Supply Chain and Merchandise disruptions or challenges.
  • Assess the impact of replenishment strategies on overall business goals and profitability. Continuously review and optimize replenishment processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the replenishment application and other key applications used by the team for regular system updates, upgrades and alignment with solution partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Supply Chain, Merchandise, Marketing, and Finance, to align replenishment strategies with business objectives.
  • Contribute as the Subject Matter Expert on cross-functional projects for system and process implementations.
  • Accountable for all EDI Operations, including onboarding new suppliers, advancing current supplier capabilities and converting store invoices, while continuing to improve technical efficiencies.
We’re looking for:
  • Degree in Business, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, IT with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical acumen and an understanding of applications used by planning and replenishment teams, including updates, integrations and solutions alignment.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Leadership skills, with an ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
  • Negotiation skills when working towards solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a drive to seek improvement personally, professionally and for a Team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project Management experience.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
