- Assist in managing multiple development projects during the construction phase, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
- Support design review by working with architects, engineers, and consultants to manage drawing submissions, approvals, and revisions.
- Support budget preparation and cost management efforts, including the tracking of expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.
- Communicate schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Work with the general contracting team to review progress reports, and resolve on-site construction challenges.
- Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify project risks and provide proactive solutions. Generate status reports and updates for senior leadership.
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, project management, or development.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam and other project management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
- 77,500 – 106,600 per annum, commensurate with education and experience
