BettingJobs are working with a growing online casino and sportsbook platform headquartered in Montreal, offering cutting-edge gaming experiences across Canada. They are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join their team.The CTO will lead the technology strategy and development for the online casino platform, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and capable of supporting rapid growth.This role will oversee platform architecture, integrations with game providers and payment systems, infrastructure, and the overall technology roadmap.Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the technology roadmap for the online platform
  • Oversee development and maintenance of the gaming platform infrastructure
  • Manage integrations with game providers, payment processors, and third-party services
  • Ensure platform scalability, uptime, and performance
  • Implement strong security, fraud prevention, and compliance standards
  • Lead engineering teams and manage development processes
  • Oversee infrastructure, hosting environments, and deployment pipelines
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver platform features
Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience in software engineering or platform development
  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, or high-transaction platforms strongly preferred
  • Strong experience with backend architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience managing development teams and engineering roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of payment integrations, security, and platform scalability
