As a Project Financial Advisor, you'll support the financial health of projects that shape communities. You'll help bring clarity and consistency to project financials-making it easier for project teams to stay on track and enabling leaders to make sound decisions.Your ImpactIn this role, you will:
- Support project managers by providing clear financial information to help guide day-to-day project decisions.
- Assist in tracking project performance, including costs, forecasts (including EAC/ETC), and key financial indicators.
- Help prepare financial summaries and reports for project and portfolio reviews.
- Work with teams to build and update project budgets, cost estimates, and billing-related data and WIP/AR management.
- Ensure compliance with key financial policies including revenue recognition, accruals, work-at-risk, and write-offs
- Provide financial input for bids and proposals to support informed commercial decisions.
- Help teams understand the financial impacts of changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience supporting financial activities within projects or business operations.
- A post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Comfort working with financial data, including basic forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and ease working in Microsoft Office tools.
- An interest in learning project financial processes and building your advisory skills.
- A collaborative approach, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
