- Playing a key role in the delivery of enterprise risk management services, including risk assessments, internal audits, performance and control improvement, compliance programs, and the design of risk management policies, frameworks, and strategies across a variety of industries;
- Developing and implementing project plans and overseeing project logistics in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders;
- Contributing to the preparation of audit programs and performing walkthroughs and control testing to assess risks and the adequacy of operational process controls; evaluating, recommending, and implementing improvements to processes and control frameworks, and documenting the results;
- Providing industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reporting, technical work, management presentations, proposals, and other high-quality deliverables;
- Communicating with clients to gain an understanding of their operations, processes, systems, and controls; explaining the impact of findings and control deficiencies, and providing recommendations;
- Identifying new ways to deliver added value to clients in current and future engagements;
- Participating in business development initiatives and contributing to the preparation and submission of competitive service proposals;
- Developing a solid understanding of MNP’s services, as well as the businesses and industries served by the firm;
- Attending internal and external training sessions to further develop knowledge in IT auditing; and
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, political science or other related field
- 1 to 3 years of internal controls, internal audit, risk management, program evaluation, performance improvement and/or business advisory experience
- CPA, CIA, CISA or other related designations or certifications are considered an asset
