- Support and manage month-end and year-end close activities for the investment product portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate accounting templates and journal entries to support internal and external reporting requirements.
- Perform daily trial balance attestations, analyze variances, and investigate issues in collaboration with business partners.
- Support legal entity financial reporting, including statutory financial statements, audit deliverables, and tax reporting packages.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve end-to-end reporting transparency.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements aimed at increasing efficiency and strengthening controls.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, regulatory reporting, and strategic initiatives impacting the business.
- Accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CGA, CA).
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and investment accounting withing banking or financial services industries.
- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, with strong technical accounting expertise under IFRS.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and effectively present complex information.
- Proficiency in enterprise financial systems.
- Experience in process improvement, automation, and enhancing financial controls.
