- Have strong familiarity with the Canadian political landscape, including election processes, media regulation, and digital policy;
- Have knowledge of the Quebec information environment, including its distinct media ecosystem, political dynamics, and public discourse;
- Be a fast learner, comfortable working across multiple research projects and adapting to new tools, methods, and subject areas;
- Have experience working with digital trace data, survey data, or other quantitative and qualitative research methods;
- Have working knowledge of Python, R, or other applicable programming languages;
- Be fluent in French (spoken and written)The successful applicant may also:- Have experience with data collection from social media platforms or online survey panels;
- Have familiarity with the academic publishing process;
- Have experience communicating research to non-academic audiences, including through policy briefs, media appearances, or public presentations;
