What you will do:
  • Perform utility line clearance pruning and removal in accordance with provincial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Work safely around energized electrical conductors while maintaining required clearances.
  • Identify tree hazards and assess risks related to utility infrastructure.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, and climbing gear.
  • Follow all safety procedures, job briefings, and emergency protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and utility representatives.
  • Complete required documentation and daily work reports.
  • Maintain clean and organized work sites.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with the public
Requirements
  • Valid 444B Utility Arborist Certification required.
  • Previous experience in utility vegetation management / line clearance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical hazards and safe work practices.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (AZ/DZ an asset).
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined or challenging environments.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
