
Engineering Manager

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to support product launches, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product development teams to transition new innovations into full-scale manufacturing.
- Develop and execute automation and process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment, utilities, and systems required for production operations.
- Provide technical support to R&D, Production, and Facilities departments, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Direct and manage all aspects of project planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Monitor and manage capital expenditures and operational budgets for engineering-related initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all projects and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a management capacity.
- Background in industrial or production environments is required; experience in pharmaceutical, food, or cannabis industries is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage across multiple departments.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and ERP systems (SAP experience is an asset).
