Our manufacturing client just 20 minutes north of Barrie, ON in the mining industry is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to join their team. If you have worked in a heavy industrial environment and want to join a growing team, then read on!Job Title: MIllwrightLocation: 20 minutes north of BarriePay Range: $44.99/hr Shift Premiums: $1.15 & $1.40/hr (3 shift biweekly rotation)Perks: full company-paid benefits, pension match to 6% + 3% additional contribution, vacation, OT after 8hrsWhat's the Job?Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.Perform general maintenance tasks, assist trades, and operate tools/equipment as required.Inspect, troubleshoot, and report defective parts or equipment issues promptly.Accurately manage work orders, supplies, and stock levels to minimize downtime.Apply knowledge of mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, etc.) to support maintenance and repair activities.What's Needed?
Millwright license
3 years of manufacturing experience
strong ability to work in a heavy industrial environment (foundry environment at times)
clean-shaven face to wear face mask
experience with hydraulics, pneumatics
