Reporting to VP, Data, Analytics & AI., you will maintain existing reporting environments, respond to ad hoc data requests, and contribute to the development of new BI solutions. BI Analysts are expected to develop strong domain knowledge in their assigned areas and grow toward greater autonomy in stakeholder engagement over time.This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience for the future in a supportive environment where your voice matters. Zurich Canada uses artificial intelligence-enabled tools to support certain aspects of the recruitment process, including the initial review and screening of applications.   • Develop, maintain, and refresh dashboards and recurring reports for assigned business areas
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical and data requests from business stakeholders within agreed service levels
  • Extract, clean, and validate data from source systems to support analytical deliverables
  • Document report logic, data sources, and data refresh processes
  • Identify and escalate data quality issues, coordinating with data engineering or source system owners to resolve discrepancies
  • Participate in requirements gathering and stakeholder sessions as skills and relationships develop
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate or streamline manual reporting
  • Contribute to shared team documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting standards
Job Qualifications - What you bring to the tableRequired:
  • 5+ years of experience in a data, analytics, or reporting-focused role
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
AND
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and report creation
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and basic transformations
Preferred:
  • Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented working style
  • Exposure to enterprise data warehouse or database environments
  • Basic understanding of data visualization and reporting best practices
At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary for this position is 80,000 - 100,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate's skills and experience.Our Culture
