OverviewWe are looking for an E- Commerce Manager to add value to our team at Publicis Media Zenith managing display campaigns on Amazon, Walmart and other retailers
ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Business Partnership
- Own senior client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor across retail media, commerce priorities, and growth planning.
- Lead quarterly and annual planning: define objectives, KPI frameworks, investment recommendations, and testing/measurement strategy tied to business outcomes.
- Drive governance: run senior status/QBRs, align stakeholders, set expectations, manage trade-offs, and resolve escalations decisively.
- Identify growth opportunities for clients: new retailers, new tactics, measurement enhancements, creative improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Lead full-funnel retail media strategies across retailers and tactics: Search, DSP, onsite display/video, and offsite extensions (as applicable by platform).
- Build and validate portfolio-level investment plans: budget allocation, pacing guardrails, incrementality approach, and scenario planning (base/upside/downside).
- Define audience and measurement frameworks (including AMC): NTB strategy, retention, cross-tactic overlap, and incrementality.
- Oversee performance across accounts: ensure the right optimization rigor, learning agenda, and quality of execution from the team.
- Elevate insights to executive-level storytelling: translate platform metrics into business impact (sales, category share, efficiency) and clear next steps.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting: definitions, attribution, and harmonized cross-retailer views.
- Lead relationships with key retail partner teams (Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Criteo, Loblaws, etc.) for your clients, in cooperation with the Director/Group Account Director, to unlock betas, insights, joint business plans, and key troubleshooting support.
- Partner internally with commerce, analytics, creative, to ensure retail readiness and smooth delivery (catalog/PDP, pricing, promos, inventory, compliance).
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements that increase speed, quality, and scalability.
- Lead and mentor Managers, Senior Specialists, Specialists and Co-Ordinator’s; set clear expectations, development plans, and performance standards.
- Take ownership of billing (Prisma) and ensure strong financial stewardship of the business in partnership with Managers/Specialists/Coordinators (accurate pacing, invoicing hygiene, budget governance, and issue resolution).
- Take the lead on Retail Media 101 decks, POVs, and client education sessions, working closely with Managers and Specialists to develop and maintain high-quality materials.
- Work closely with the VP and GAD/Director to localize global commerce tools or processes and support responses to global requests and reporting needs.
- Leading agency education and roadshows, representing the function and presenting to agencies/teams to build capability and adoption.
- Build scalable ways of working: playbooks, QA checklists, pacing/SOV monitoring, naming conventions, change logs, and structured post-mortems to improve performance over time.
- Ensure team workload is balanced, and delivery is resilient (resource planning, prioritization, escalation paths).
- 5+ years in retail media / performance marketing, including deep hands-on experience with Amazon Search & DSP.
- Strong working knowledge across major retail media networks: Walmart Connect, Instacart, Criteo, and familiarity with Loblaws/MediaAisle, Uber Ads, DoorDash Ads.
- Proven experience leading annual planning, media strategy, and budget allocation/forecasting for multiple brands.
- Strong client leadership: experience presenting and influencing senior stakeholders with clear narratives and data-backed recommendations.
- Experience managing and developing teams (Managers and/or Specialists), including setting standards and driving accountability.
- Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), measurement strategy, and incrementality testing approaches.
- Experience with Pacvue/Skai, retailer reporting APIs/portals, and incrementality testing frameworks.
- Advanced analytical capability (Excel models, forecasting, performance diagnostics) and strong PowerPoint storytelling for exec audiences.
- Experience building scalable processes: naming conventions, QA checklists, pacing/SOV monitoring, change logs, reporting templates, playbooks.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing escalations, and leading cross-functional stakeholders.
