As project lead, you support the project sponsor and oversee a work team involved in cross-sector projects and initiatives to ensure objectives are met. You participate in all the different project phases, from design to rollout. You identify goals, strategies and approaches, and you coordinate efforts for large-scale, innovative projects. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively manage teams and help the organization achieve its objectives. Initiatives require broad project knowledge, with the ability to draw on expertise from multiple functional areas to support successful delivery. You are responsible for strategic projects that are organizationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. You lead and serve as specialist to teams and decision-making bodies. You represent Desjardins’ position when making agreements with external providers.
