We do this through maintaining internal HR systems, policies and collective agreements and providing human resources advice and support to departments and employees.The opportunity…The Human Resource Information Systems and Analytics (HRISA) team provides the systems, tools, data and insights that help employees, managers, and departments make informed decisions about people and human resources. We focus on keeping HR systems reliable, user-friendly and efficient; delivering up-to-date, meaningful data to departments and leaders; and supporting government-wide priorities like the People Plan and Breaking Trail Together.Our mission is to make HR processes and decisions across government more integrated, informed and strategic.As the Metrics and Systems Architect you will be responsible for leading the collection and analysis of vast amounts of unstructured data from multi-channel sources and transforms them into key human resource (HR) analytics data.   • Post-secondary education in information technology, engineering, data science, math or physics, business management or related fields;
  • Considerable experience leading systems development projects and teams through all lifecycles;
  • Proficiency with SQL, R/Python, RDBMS design and administration, data analytics and statistics;
  • Experience in project management, functional analysis and business improvement practices; and
  • Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools is considered an asset;
  • Experience within AI and ML is considered an asset;
