Your duties will require that you spend considerable time onsite at our client locations.SummaryAs an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant, you will support and advise Safety Group clients in your territory on relevant matters; using your skills, knowledge and subject matter expertise in occupational health and safety laws and regulations, CNESST rates, and more.Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients who are members of a Safety Group and promote occupational health and safety
  • Develop safety action plans and inform members of their obligations
  • Help achieve the quantitative and qualitative goals of the Health & Safety department
  • Contribute to market development and the achievement of budget goals by promoting the company’s products and services
Succeeding as an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant will require the following core qualifications and skills:
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field (ex. OHS, administration)
  • 2-5 years of work experience in occupational health and safety
  • Highly versatile, knowledgeable, and independent, with a demonstrated ability to take action in a range of complex cases or situations within the scope of activities related to health and safety
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Daily access to a car and a valid driver’s licence mandatory
