- Litigation & Advocacy: Act as the lead attorney for all litigation matters in the Miramichi office, providing strategic representation in and out of court.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train a multidisciplinary team, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring ethical, timely, and high-quality resolution of all legal matters.
- Strategic Growth: Drive business development and community engagement to expand the firm's local footprint.
- Operational Oversight: Serve as a primary resource for the unit, balancing administrative management with active legal practice.
- Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited institution and an active license to practice in New Brunswick.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in litigation with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
- Specialization: Strong background in Family Law is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated “solution-based” leadership style with the ability to manage competing priorities and mentor junior staff.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, advocacy, and client-retention capabilities.
