- Act as the focal for the Technical Engineering Disciplines
- Integrate all Technical activities involved in a new design or a design change, from concept definition to certification.
- Be the voice of all Technical Engineering Disciplines at discussions with the Head of Challenger Programs
- Support specialist and management to define Technical Engineering design requirements and objectives for any aircraft modification or change.
- Coordinate wind tunnel development and validation activities, as required.
- Lead design review activities related to Technical Engineering Disciplines
- Coordinate activities related to flight test requirements, certification, and flight manuals for Technical Engineering Disciplines
- Work with individual specialists to Identify program risks related to Technical Engineering Disciplines and define and execute mitigation plan(s)
- Support customer queries related to Technical Engineering
- Work with other Technical Integrators on other platforms to ensure commonality between platforms.
- Keep track of budget spend and schedule adherence of the Technical Engineering teams.
- Support input into Technical Disciplines Document Lessons Learned
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Master's Degree would be an Asset.
- You possess a minimum 11 years of experience in aerospace.
- You have a good working knowledge in multiple Technical Disciplines and their interaction with the rest of the Aircraft and Aircraft systems.
- You possess good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
- You quickly understand complex issues and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are able to work under pressure, autonomously and with changing priorities.
