- Prepare electrical designs and calculations for power distribution, lighting systems, lighting control, fire alarm, and emergency power for transportation projects.
- Develop AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D models for electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Apply knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC), Electrical Safety Authority, and IEEE standards to support design integrity.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and discipline leads to meet project milestones and quality standards.
- Support project documentation, specifications, and BIM360 workflows.
- Contribute to design reviews and coordination meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; EIT registration with PEO is an asset.
- 2-4 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings, transportation, healthcare, or light industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit 3D; familiarity with BIM360 workflows.
- Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and practices, including OBC and ESA requirements.
- Exposure to utility coordination and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Familiarity with engineering study software (arc flash, load, fault, coordination, lighting, grounding) is an asset.
