Location: Waterloo, OntarioWhat you will be doing:Design and develop electrical circuits for machine vision camera boards and associated test systems.Plan printed circuit board stackups and layouts in collaboration with PCB layout engineers.Select electronic components and develop schematics that meet company design and quality standards.Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and testability.Perform simulation, debugging, and bring up of new board designs.Troubleshoot and improve existing designs in both laboratory and production environments.Collaborate with firmware, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, and test engineering teams.Document design work and participate in or lead design review meetings.Provide technical support to production teams to ensure timely product delivery.Contribute ideas and knowledge toward the development of new camera designs.What you must have:Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design.Experience with PCB design tools such as Siemens PADS or similar platforms.Hands on experience using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.Familiarity with communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet.Knowledge of high speed signal design and board level interconnects.Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced environment.Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience working with components such as ADCs, DACs, switching mode power supplies, LDOs, operational amplifiers, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and fiber optic technologies.Salary/Rate Range: $114,000.00 – $152,000.00Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
