Company DescriptionFerrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.What is the project?
  • A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
  • Stations:
  • One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
  • Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
  • Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Property & Asset Protection Coordinator Co-op to join our dynamic team for a major transportation infrastructure project.The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000.Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Client and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain effective tracking of Lands, Property, and Asset Protection items, including PTE agreement status and terms, lands handover statuses, and completion of scopes on third-party lands.
  • Assist in initial outreach and agreement negotiations with neighbouring properties and business owners across the Project.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and property owners to schedule and execute required works in third-party lands within the vicinity of the project.
  • Collaborate with implementation, project management, and design teams to review, assemble, and return Adjacent Developer Review (ADR) packages on a timely basis.
  • Track and ensure compliance to third-party PTE agreement terms and work with internal teams to generate and provide required deliverables.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of third-party risk mitigation processes.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in relevant a program, such as Business Administration, Project Management, Urban & Regional Planning, Communications, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1 year of experience in the delivery of large Heavy Civil and/or Transit & Rail Infrastructure construction projects is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience working closely with Metrolinx, the City of Toronto, or large landowners within the GTHA considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS) considered an asset.
