- A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
- Stations:
- One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
- Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
- Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).
- Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time.
- Reduce crowding on the existing Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway.
- Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents.
- Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction.
- Reduction in traffic congestion, greenhouse gases, and fuel consumption by providing an alternative transportation option.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Client and stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain effective tracking of Lands, Property, and Asset Protection items, including PTE agreement status and terms, lands handover statuses, and completion of scopes on third-party lands.
- Assist in initial outreach and agreement negotiations with neighbouring properties and business owners across the Project.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and property owners to schedule and execute required works in third-party lands within the vicinity of the project.
- Collaborate with implementation, project management, and design teams to review, assemble, and return Adjacent Developer Review (ADR) packages on a timely basis.
- Track and ensure compliance to third-party PTE agreement terms and work with internal teams to generate and provide required deliverables.
- Participate in the development and implementation of third-party risk mitigation processes.
- Currently enrolled in relevant a program, such as Business Administration, Project Management, Urban & Regional Planning, Communications, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1 year of experience in the delivery of large Heavy Civil and/or Transit & Rail Infrastructure construction projects is considered an asset.
- Prior experience working closely with Metrolinx, the City of Toronto, or large landowners within the GTHA considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS) considered an asset.
