Skills you bring with you:
  • Professional and current teaching certification with a nationally recognized organization (CSIA, CASI, BASI, APSI, or National equivalency) Level 2 or higher required.
  • Polished interpersonal and motivational skills and highly organized.
  • Proven track record in tourism guest services and as a team player.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft and RTP systems.
  • Several seasons experience as a supervisor with a sports school.
  • Proficient use of spoken and written English.
  • Legally able to work in Canada from April 2026.
  • Willing to submit to a criminal record check.
  • Extensive knowledge of staff and sales database management and administration.
Physical Demands:
  • You must be physically able to fully undertake responsibilities pertinent to your certification level and discipline in a safe and diligent manner. Able to sit or stand for periods of time, keyboard work.
  • Able to work outside in all winter weather conditions.
  • High degree of physical fitness. Free of injuries that may obstruct daily duties.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Extended sales training and/or experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Clear Company and Site Docs.
  • Dual or multi-sport or MTB certification i.e. PMBIA, GSMBC
  • Post-secondary education in business, H.R, accounting, risk assessment or organizational behavior.
  • Knowledge of employment standards, accident investigation, supervisors' responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate according to code of conduct and values statement of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and the Sports School and direct and specific product marketing to guests.
  • Hire teaching staff and assist to hire supervisory staff.
  • Coordinate daily lesson demand against staff inventories to maximize utilization and maintain product and program quality.
  • Guest product satisfaction including recovery tactics and communications.
  • Coordinate and support staff, including staff scheduling, direction and applying, auditing paid activities, etc.
  • Injury management, RTW administration and tracking.
  • Data base management.
  • Work with the Sports School Manager (SSM) to plan and adjust seasonal staffing inventories based on future forecasted demand.
  • Assist SSM with all seasonal administrative, operational and planning updates
  • Participate in JHSC activities.
