- Work with service supervisors, advisors and coordinators at all Regional Service Centers to schedule and keep track of progress with repairs, ensuring prompt return to ready (R2R). Work with EMS department to track progress of maintenance events
- Prioritize repair decisions based on feedback from sales team and equipment needs. Advise on fleet replacement vs. rebuild decisions based on equipment age, hours, and availability of new units for fleet upload
- Regional Service Center contacts are responsible for scheduling technicians with customer, creating work orders complete with segments, updating service scheduler, order parts
- Maintain fleet availability and status tracking across ECAN using CatScan receivers and shippers, and through the Rental Dashboard. Share fleet availability with Sales and Operations teams on a daily basis Identify and schedule appropriate service letters, trailer safety inspections, stay current with CSA / TSSA / Canada Transport regulations and upfits (new and used equipment)
- Answer technical questions pertaining to specific repairs, required parts specific to the fleet, paralleling and capability questions, etc
- Assist with processing outside supplier orders and invoicing including freight, contractors, and equipment orders
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Caterpillar and/or Power Systems industry experience
- Strong Analytical / data analysis abilities and business acumen
- A collaborative, team player with strong relationship building and customer service focus/experience
- Effective, experienced negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills and sense of urgency
- Self-motivated, strong initiative, results driven with strong agility and execution
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules often
- Proficient w/Excel and other Microsoft applications; quick to learn/adopt new technology /software
- Post Secondary education in Business Administration or Commerce required or relevant technical experience
