Then this career is for you. We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist or Master's prepared social worker to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions and comprehensive assessments to clients across different age groups and diverse backgrounds.Ehrlo Counselling provides service from a holistic, person-centred approach and believes in dignity and respect for all people. Not only do we assess the person, but their environment in collaboration with that client. All of our counselors come with a wide variety of evidence-based knowledge to help with different issues that affect individuals, families, and communities.Candidates will have:
  • Strong counseling skills and experience including sound theoretical understanding and application of various evidenced-based clinical interventions.
  • Knowledge and application of professional ethics related to clinical counseling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships and professional working alliances.
  • Excellent ability to uphold file standards, write succinct and effective reports.
  • Fully registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists or Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage is required.
  • Knowledge and skills working with culturally diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, incorporating Indigenous healing practices and traditional knowledge, as applicable.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide culturally relevant psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and resilience.
  • Advocate for the mental health needs of Indigenous populations, working closely with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, supervision, and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills in counseling and in Indigenous mental health.
