  • The Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) program is a strategic initiative focused on transforming how client manages risk. As a holistic solution, it modernizes governance, risk, and compliance by integrating frameworks, processes, and regulatory requirements into a single, consistent platform. The eGRC enhances transparency, automates key activities, and supports data-driven decision making across all business functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. The program ultimately aims to enhance organizational resilience and informed decision-making.
eGRC Governance and Reporting:
  • The eGRC Governance and Reporting team serves as the central authority for oversight and governance coordination, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence across all governance and reporting functions within the eGRC Program.
Purpose:
  • The Manager, eGRC Governance & Reporting (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core Microsoft 365–based infrastructure that enables governance, intake, triage and reporting, for the eGRC Program. This role provides hands‑on technical leadership in developing scalable, secure, and compliant solutions—including Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and SharePoint repositories—to support governance routines, document management, and stakeholder reporting. The role contributes to the overall success of the eGRC Governance & Reporting team within Global Risk Management in Canada and globally, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and established governance standards.

Typical Day in Role:
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in designing and configuring Microsoft 365 platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power BI), including information architecture, custom forms, data models, permissions, and role based access to enable structured intake, triage, and reporting.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to meet business partner requirements, including workflow automation, integrations, and user interfaces, supported by clear process and technical documentation to enable knowledge transfer, reuse, and ongoing support.
  • Strong technical capability in building and maintaining SharePoint based repositories with metadata design, document classification, version control, and automated routing, enabling scalable document intake, triage, and governance for internal programs.
  • Maintains governance documentation, templates, decision logs, and version control, and supports governance processes by preparing agendas, materials, minutes, and action logs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and smooth coordination.
  • Coordinates cross functional inputs, summarizes feedback, escalates issues as needed, and executes recurring governance routines, reporting cycles, and data refreshes, while also responding to stakeholder inquiries to provide timely and accurate governance and reporting support.
  • Support cross functional coordination by gathering contributions, reviewing impacts, capturing stakeholder input, and managing the intake form and preliminary triage review to inform eGRC deliverables, risks, and priorities.
  • Maintains governance KPIs, dashboards, and trackers by consolidating data and conducting basic analysis to highlight trends or risks, while also drafting communications, stakeholder updates, FAQs, and supporting logistics for training, demos, and readiness activities.
  • Performs team administration activities, including managing calendars, distribution lists, folder structures, onboarding tasks, access requests, and other coordination activities to support smooth team operations.
  • Support ad hoc program needs by delivering, materials, and change related deliverables in response to evolving priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with client’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience developing, designing, and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Project and program management experience with the ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of regulatory environments, data governance, and technical platforms supporting GRC functions such as Jira, Clarity, OpenPages, and ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  • Risk management experience
  • SDLC experience
  • Previous banking experience/FI experience
Soft Skills Required:
  • Analytical and planning capabilities
  • Relationship management and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across business lines, technology teams, and control functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of internal constraints of developing within a bank.
