Excavator Operator – Civil Construction

• Operate excavators safely on civil construction sites

• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling

• Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

• Ensure equipment remains in safe working condition

• Follow ground disturbance and site safety procedures

• Communicate effectively with crews and supervision

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators in civil construction

• Experience working around utilities, trenching, and excavation work

• Familiar with various equipment sizes (excavators, loaders, skid steers)

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

• Ground disturbance or equipment certifications considered an asset

• Safety-focused with strong reliability and teamwork

• Full-time, field-based role

• Projects located throughout the Lower Mainland

• Travel between sites required

• Extended hours may be required depending on project needs
