As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy mining and construction equipment, including haul trucks, dozers, excavators, shovels, loaders, and graders.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and major component replacements in both shop and field settings.
- Service and repair hydraulic and powertrain systems across a range of heavy equipment applications.
- Work independently in remote field settings or collaborate in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including working in confined spaces and using proper PPE.
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal is an asset).
- Minimum 1 year of field experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address complex mechanical issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of repairs and maintenance.
- Commitment to safety and high-quality work, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and meets standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members in various environments.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces.

- Drug and alcohol check
- Medical questionnaire
- Driver’s abstract
- Employment verification
