Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of a dedicated group supporting various impactful projects in the renewable energy, infrastructure, and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully with the organization.Job Title: Geotechnical Field TechnicianLocation: Mississauga, ONWhat's the Job?
  • Complete topographic surveys of existing site conditions (non-legal survey).
  • Perform field electrical resistivity surveys for engineering design.
  • Coordinate and supervise subsurface investigations, ensuring proper soil sampling protocols are followed.
  • Supervise a variety of pile installations and undertake load testing programs for detailed pile design.
  • Conduct construction QA/QC inspections to verify that foundations are installed as per design requirements.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations.
