- Customer Support: Understand customer processes and installed equipment in order to provide technical support and solutions. Regularly visit customer sites and build relationships with all levels of employees.
- Monitor Equipment: Collect and monitor operating and wear data on critical Hard Rock Mining equipment and assist in providing performance analysis and reports, which will drive wear performance improvements and wear life expectations.
- Prepare Reports: Assist management with inventory estimates and forecasts based on customer usage. Assist service teams with preparation of presentations on key equipment
- Consistent Communication: Liaison between customers and Weir internal teams to modify equipment and/or component design to improve performance and wear life and meet customer requirements

- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering)
- 1+ year of technical or engineering experience - Preference given to candidates exposed to field service in an industrial/mining environment
- Ability to use various inspection instruments and hand tools with a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding
- Previous experience with the disassembly, evaluation, repair and reassembly of industrial mining equipment would be considered an asset.
