Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Junior Civil Engineer!Your work environment at EXPIn this role you will be based out of our North Bay, Ontario Office.Responsibilities include:
  • Participate and perform design tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting in the design of infrastructure projects including watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, grading, and storm water management
  • Support the design project manager to liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes
  • Collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets
  • Collaborate on fundamentals of detail design of Civil/Siteworks infrastructure work and project management
  • Oversee, document, review, and assess contractor's compliance with contractual requirements
  • Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments for work performed
  • Perform Contract Administrator and Inspection tasks in preparing various site reports
Required Qualifications include:
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) Or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Ontario is required
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
