- Extensive experience as a Forklift Operator or Warehouse Associate in an industrial setting.
- Mastery of power industrial truck operations with a focus on safety and load stability.
- Ability to work effectively in a cooler environment for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Excellent spatial awareness and coordination for navigating narrow aisles.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and fellow Forklift Operators.
- Competitive pay rate of $22 per hour with weekly pay cycles.
- Steady afternoon shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) providing a consistent routine.

- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move food products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform accurate order picking and packing to ensure daily shipping quotas are met for the Manufacturing & logistics team.
- Navigate the forklift within a cooler/refrigerated environment while maintaining product safety and integrity.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including specialized food safety guidelines (HACCP/SQF).
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections on the forklift to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space to prevent accidents and optimize workflow.
- Use RF scanners or manual logs to track inventory movements and report discrepancies.
- Support the broader Manufacturing & logistics team during peak periods to ensure shift targets are achieved by 11:00 PM.
- Must hold a valid, current external forklift certification.
- Full comfort and capability working in a cooler/refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in a food-grade or food manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
- Ability to provide two professional references from previous Forklift Operator roles.
- Reliable transportation to the Brantford location for the 3:00 PM start time.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE and following strict safety regulations.
