We keep our customers’ worlds on.From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you’ll do as Power Technician 2You’ll be based out of our Brampton, ON service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicleYou’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travelPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipmentCommissioning of multiple canopy generators, single containerized generatorTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairsYou will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sitesYou are:High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience working on Cummins diesel power/natural gas generators, mechanics or electricians and/or commercial, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairJourneyman HET (off-Road) or Journeyman ElectricianExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsBased on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical cardAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.Valid driver’s licenseHere’s what you’ll get:Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekendsPersonal use vehiclePay range CAD $42.00 - $50.00 per hourNo premium cost medical plan option availableRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and moreCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement availableSafety-focused culture working on brand new technologyOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
