- Collaborate closely across many different product development teams to validate and pressure test our new platform architecture, design, APIs, and user experience.
- You will work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to build solutions that solve customer problems.
- You will prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a highly dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes to proactively identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, quality, and automation.
- Contribute to cross-team planning initiatives, influencing engineering direction, and effectively communicating project status and timelines to stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software engineering roles with progressive responsibilities.
- Experience in full-stack development using Node, TypeScript, and React. Plus, preferable back-end skills with one of the following languages (Java, C#, Python, Elixir, PHP).
- Experience working in an agile environment with iterative development and fast feedback.
- Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Comfortable participating in PagerDuty's on-call rotation to ensure high availability of mission-critical systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, workflow engines, or automation platforms.
- Expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Circle CI/Buildkite, GitHub Actions).
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences across the organization.
