Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute needs and the determinants of health.About the position: The Clinic Support Worker will maintain water quality guidelines set by EHO; Provide janitorial duties on regular basis as required within the health facility; provide minor maintenance as assigned by immediate supervisor; cross train for Community Health Representative, Cultural Support Worker, Home Health Aide, Medical Transportation Clerk, Parent Support Worker and Dental Aide;Duties:
  • Maintain water quality guides set by EHO;
  • Provide janitorial duties on a regular basis as required within health facility;
  • Provide minor maintenance as assigned by supervisor;
  • Cross-train for Community Health Representative, Community Cultural Support Worker, Home Health Aide, Medical Transportation Clerk, Parent Support Worker and Dental Aide;
Qualifications:
  • Minimum grade 10 education;
  • Be able to work independently and demonstrate organization skills;
  • Willing to learn new skills and work within the health care team;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to speak/understand Cree and knowledge of the Cree culture is as asset;
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
  • Class 5 Driver’s license preferred, but not required;
