
Technician, Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring

- Conduct field monitoring using total stations and digital inclinometers,
- Perform condition surveys of properties, structures, and right-of-ways,
- Process data and prepare technical reports,
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain geotechnical instruments,
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation,
- Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities.
- Has a valid provincial driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Has a College Diploma (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in a civil engineering or technology-based field.
- Experience working with power tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and skill with Word processing and Excel software
- Able to adhere to prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner
- Previous experience working with total station and survey equipment is an asset
