- Support recruitment and onboarding as the DEF business expands.
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new DEF business opportunities.
- Manage key accounts to maximize retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure disciplined CRM usage, accurate forecasting, and strong pipeline management.
- Participate in customer meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Provide market intelligence to support executive decision-making and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales performance reports, including pipeline health, win/loss analysis, forecast accuracy, and activity metrics.
- Analyze sales results versus targets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Operations to build and refine monthly sales forecasts, providing insight, data, and market context to support operational planning.
- Achieve revenue and gross profit targets for the DEF product line.
- Maintain pricing discipline and adhere to approval processes.
- Develop annual sales plans and budgets; monitor forecast versus actual performance and implement corrective actions.
- Assist Finance with the annual budgeting process by providing estimates, analysis, and market-based insights for the upcoming year.
- Build relationships with retail stores distributors, fleets, industrial customers, and strategic partners.
- Represent the Company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure effective lead generation, handoff, and conversion.
- Escalate significant customer or competitive issues to the President with recommended actions.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), lubricants, or industrial products.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and gross profit targets.
- Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) systems and disciplined pipeline management.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and support profitable decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, maintain disciplined pipeline management, and deliver accurate forecasting through CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth and new business development.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
