You'll oversee day-to-day quality assurance activities for complex projects, applying your deep expertise to manage functional, release, and automation testing, as well as support activities. You'll collaborate closely with business partners and the Analytics development team to gather requirements, facilitate solution design discussions, and implement testing best practices. Your responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, managing defects, and leveraging tools such as Adobe Analytics, AEP, AJO, HP ALM, Jira, and ObservePoint. You'll also provide regular updates to project stakeholders, help consolidate project financials, and build strong relationships across teams to ensure successful project delivery.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you'll succeedTest case management – Prepare, validate, and execute test cases to identify gaps, errors, and potential issues through both manual and automated testing. Document and communicate results to drive resolution.Defect & production support – Actively manage a backlog of defects using HP ALM and Jira, prioritize corrections, and support production issue investigations and resolutions, collaborating with developers as needed.Automation test scans & compliance – Utilize ObservePoint to create and monitor user journeys, validate analytics requirements, and ensure data accuracy and compliance on digital platforms.Collaboration & relationship building – Coach and mentor team members, negotiate deliverables, and foster trusted relationships with business stakeholders and technology partners.Who you areYou can demonstrate 2 to 4 years of work experience in quality assurance, ideally within financial services and with analytics tools. It’s an asset if you have managed cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment and are familiar with both waterfall and agile methodologies, as well as the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).You have hands-on experience with agile project delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint, as well as behavioral analytics and automation tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, ObservePoint, and digital tag management tools such as Adobe Launch. It’s an asset if you have hands on experience with JavaScript fundamentalsYou have strong QA tool proficiency. You are skilled in using HP ALM for test case management and have experience with QA automation testing tools.It’s an asset if you have experience in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform rule testing, Adobe Journey Optimization in requirements build, implementation, and testing.Your influence makes a difference.
